VI’s active COVID-19 cases reduce to 46
Following a noticeable increase in COVID-19 cases in the Virgin Islands last week, the number of cases has since reduced by some 15, according to an update from Government today, September 29, 2021.
According to the Territory’s Epidemiological Summary, there are now 46 cases in the VI, compared to 61 reported on September 24, 2021.
37 of the positive cases are on Virgin Gorda and 9 on Tortola.
Only one person is currently hospitalised at Dr D. Orlando Smith Hospital due to COVID-19.
Overall, there have been 2718 COVID-19 cases recorded in the VI, 2635 recoveries and 37 deaths.
