Virgin Islands' Kyron McMaster Comes in Second in 400m Hurdles Final at Galan Diamond League Meet

Kyron McMaster, a star athlete from the Virgin Islands, came in second in the men's 400m hurdles final at the 2023 Galan Diamond League meet in Stockholm, Sweden.
The performance earned him a silver medal, behind Norway's Olympic champion and world record holder Karsten Warholm, who set a world-leading time of 46.52 seconds.

The race was run in challenging, wet conditions and faced some level of disturbance as environmental protestors blocked some of the lanes near the end of the track.

Despite this, McMaster was able to finish ahead of other racers who were forced to run through the banner.
