A driver is dead after a semi-truck plowed into more than ten cars on a California highway on Wednesday. 

Video captured by a Tesla driving nearby shows the truck barreling into 11 cars. The truck first hits the back of a black BMW and forces it into another car. The truck doesn’t seem to slow down as it continues to destroy other cars in its path. Many of the vehicles had their trunks ripped open and were barely recognizable.

A 39-year-old man from Elk Grove died from his injuries while two others were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

California officials do not believe drugs or alcohol were involved in the crash.
