Hon.
Myron Walwyn, a member of
the Virgin Islands party (VIP) administration, has urged his party to seek external help to address the infrastructural challenges faced by the Territory.
Hon.
Walwyn stated that the current state of the roads in the BVI is not consistent with the luxury destination marketing label and that the Territory needs technical support in this area.
He also highlighted that there are homes in the BVI where people have no access to running water after 7pm daily and some have no access at all.
Hon.
Walwyn urged the matter of access to potable water to be sorted.
The VIP administration has been criticized for failing to adequately address the infrastructure challenges in the BVI.
