Opposition Leader Calls for Change in Approach to Address Territory's Long-Standing Issues

Third District Representative Julian Fraser has called on the government to move away from its current approach and adopt new strategies to address the issues that have been plaguing the territory for years.
Despite representing nearly seven decades of representation for the parliamentary Opposition in the House of Assembly, Fraser argues that the Opposition is the most potent he has seen.

Fraser specifically highlighted the need to end the wanton and open burning of garbage in Pockwood Pond, which has been causing harm to residents and the environment.

He also called for residents to have access to potable water for twenty-four hours a day, saying that this change was a part of the campaign promises made by the Opposition.

Fraser emphasized that the government has the mandate and resources to address these issues, but the Opposition has a responsibility to ensure that the government does its job.

He promised to move multiple motions of no-confidence in the House of Assembly if the government turns a deaf ear to the cries of the people.

Overall, Fraser's call for change is a reminder that the government needs to take responsibility for the well-being of the people and adopt new strategies to address the issues facing the territory.
