White House Denies Biden Being Treated for Parkinson's Disease

The White House confirmed that U.S. President Joe Biden is not being treated for Parkinson's disease. This comes after reports of a neurologist visiting the White House prompted concerns. White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre confirmed Biden had seen a neurologist three times as part of his annual physical exams.
The White House has confirmed that U.S. President Joe Biden is not being treated for Parkinson's disease, following reports of a neurologist specializing in the condition visiting the White House eight times over the past year.

The concerns about Biden's health emerged after a stumble during his June 27 debate with Republican Donald Trump.

According to The New York Times, Dr. Kevin Cannard, a neurologist and Parkinson's specialist, was recorded in White House visitor logs with multiple visits from last summer through this spring.

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, during a heated briefing, declined to confirm Cannard's visits, citing privacy and security reasons.

However, she confirmed that Biden had seen a neurologist three times in conjunction with his annual physical exams.
