Woman evades local supermarket security with cartload of unpaid groceries!

Shoplifters usually try to take items without paying by concealing them in their clothing or handbags; however, one shoplifter made off with a cartload of items at RiteWay Food Markets in Pasea Estate at around 5:00pm on Friday, March 19, 2021.
According to information reaching our newsroom, the shoplifter positioned herself at the exit with a cartload of groceries and made a dash outside when the security guard briefly moved from his location.

The act; however, was observed by a customer, who alerted the security guard.

A quick review of CCTV footage reportedly showed the accused leaving with the items in her cart without cashing out.

It is not known at this time if the shoplifter was apprehended or if the matter was reported to police.
