Woman Injured In Three-Vehicular Accident
A woman was taken by ambulance to the Dr. D. Orlando Smith Hospital following a three-vehicular accident outside of the Tortola Auto Group (TAG) dealership at Slaney Point this morning, March 15.
While police are investigating the incident, reports are that the woman who was driving a Lexus car was said to be headed in a westernly direction when she attempted to overtake a Mitsubishi SUV which was at the time in the process of making a right turn into TAG.
Reports indicate that the woman subsequently collided with a rental car that was headed in the opposite direction. The impact clipped the vehicle's back wheel and caused it to spin before it stopped facing the opposite direction.
The woman appeared to be conscious when she was lifted into the ambulance.
