Woman is Grenada's first murder victim for 2021
Grenada has been shaken by its first recorded homicide for 2021.
The deceased has been identified as Lindy Skinner-Morain, a food vendor from Jean Anglais, St George. She was stabbed to death on the morning of June 7, 2021.
According to the Royal Grenada Police Force, preliminary investigations revealed that the accused reported to police at the South St George Police Station, that the victim owed him a sum of monies and requested police assistance.
The police responded and an agreement was reached between both parties.
Subsequently, the accused reportedly used a knife and inflicted numerous stab wounds on the victim’s body.
The accused is in police custody assisting with investigations.
