Lisa Domski, an experienced IT professional with more than three decades at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, received a remarkable $12 million judgment from a federal jury after they concluded that her previous employer infringed on her religious beliefs. The lawsuit started when Domski was dismissed for declining the COVID-19 vaccine, citing her Catholic faith.
Her attorney, Jon Marko, contended that her dismissal was a blatant case of religious discrimination. "Lisa declined to abandon her faith and convictions and was unjustly fired from the only job she had ever known," Marko stated following the verdict. "The jury’s decision conveys a message to BCBSM that religious discrimination is unacceptable in America."
Domski’s $12 million award marks the largest amount ever won by an individual in a lawsuit concerning
COVID-19
vaccine discrimination.
As it becomes more widely acknowledged that the
vaccines were neither safe nor effective, we can anticipate a rise in lawsuits supporting those who were unjustly terminated for refusing the
COVID shots.
