BVI Airports Resume Normal Operations After Control Tower Closure

All of the BVI's airports, including Terrance B Lettsome International Airport on Beef Island, have resumed normal operations after being forced to close on Friday afternoon due to insufficient staffing levels in the control tower.
The BVI Airports Authority developed an operational contingency plan to allow operations to continue until 1 pm on Friday.

The Chairman of the BVIAA's Board of Directors apologized to the travelling public for any inconvenience caused by the disruption.
