Miss BVI Bria A. Smith receive keys to 2019 Hyundai Tucson

Six weeks after taking the crown as Miss BVI 2019, Media Communications Professional, Bria A. Smith drove out of the Tortola Auto Group (TAG) showroom with the top prize of a brand new 2019 Hyundai Tucson.

Ms Smith, who collected 6 of the 11 individual prizes to claim the crown, was well aware of the top prize and eagerly awaited.

Her wait came to an end on Friday, September 13, when at TAG's showroom, the keys to the luxury SUV was handed to Chairman of the Virgin Islands Festival and Fairs Committee (VIF&FC), Mr Carnel D. Cline by TAG's Gordon French.

Mr Cline, in the presence of Miss BVI Pageant Committee Chair, Alesia Hamm, handed the keys to the Territory's 2019/2020 queen who with gratitude said, "this opportunity has been a blessing."

Winning Brand

While Ms Hamm along with Mr Cline cheered on, Mr French said, "A winner deserves a winning brand," in noting that Hyundai remains the lead selling brand of vehicles in the territory for three years in a row.

"We are happy that the Festival and Fairs Committee selected the brand as it has some amazing and exciting features," he said.

At the pageant, Smith won prizes for Miss Popularity, Best Costume, Best BVI Promotion along with Best Interview, Intellect and Poise.
