The bodies of Briton Sarah Packwood and Canadian Brett Clibbery were found on a life raft near Nova Scotia. They went missing six weeks prior after setting sail on their eco-friendly yacht, Theros. Investigators suspect a possible collision with a cargo ship.
The bodies of Briton Sarah Packwood and her Canadian husband Brett Clibbery were found on a washed-up life raft near Sable Island, Nova Scotia.
They had set off from Nova Scotia on 18 June on their 13-meter eco-friendly yacht, Theros, aiming to reach the Azores.
The couple was reported missing after being last seen almost six weeks earlier.
Their journey, dubbed the Green Odyssey, aimed to demonstrate sustainable sailing using sails, solar panels, batteries, and an electric engine.
Investigators, including the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, suspect their yacht may have been struck by a passing cargo ship.
The couple had married in Canada on their yacht and later affirmed their vows at Stonehenge.
Sarah Packwood had a humanitarian background, including work with the UN in Rwanda.
