Speaking to ZBVI 780 AM radio at a protest at the House of Assembly this morning said she was pleased with the support of the protest by members of the public.

She also said she will ultimately work towards getting the current HoA dissolved.

According to her she is looking at the constitution to see how she can get this done, stating that the people in the VI are frustrated with the situation in the territory.

Cindy using protests for personal agenda?

Persons have criticised Rosan-Jones for riding the waves of disgruntlement to forward her personal agenda.

Rosan-Jones who has made her hate for the elected representatives known publicly, was made redundant as an employee of the BVI Tourist Board and Film Commission in December 2020 and has since had a strong grievance with the government who she has blamed, despite the Tourist Board being a statutory body.

'Democracy alive in VI'

One of the reasons for the protest action today is to discourage the HoA from entertaining a motion to pay legal bills for Speaker Hon Julian Willock.

Legislators who spoke to the media have said they are pleased to see democracy is alive and well in the Virgin Islands. They reserved their comments on the controversial motion for the debates later today.
