But he was ordered to pay that sum by January 31, 2020, while he is in jail, or serve an additional six months in prison (!). Why somebody who do not have money must serve additional 6 month in jail? how much money it will cost the public to held a person in prison for additional 6 months? Since when being a poor is a crime? While it is absolutely right to punish a post-hurricane looter, i think it is totally wrong, immoral and against the public interest to send somebody to additional 6 months in jail just because he is not as rich as the looters of public money who will never face justice as they are well connected with the justice system.
