A major exhibition at the British Museum will showcase treasures from Uzbekistan for the first time, including a monumental seventh-century wall painting and eighth-century ivory chess pieces. The exhibition, named 'Silk Roads,' will explore the extensive trade networks that existed between AD500 and 1000. Over 300 objects from 29 institutions will be on display, highlighting the diverse cultural exchanges along these historical trade routes.
