Digicel to install state-of-the-art Wi-Fi system @ Pier Park

Digicel and Tortola Pier Park Limited are ensuring that tourists visiting the Cyril B. Romney Tortola Pier Park will have access to world-class connectivity, thanks to a new state-of-the-art Wi-Fi system to be installed in the facility.

Tortola Pier Park Ltd (TPPL) launched a Request for Service to have a Wi-Fi system installed in Cyril B. Romney Tortola Pier Park.

After reviewing proposals from several telecommunications providers, Digicel rose to the top and was awarded the project contract.

Digicel’s proposal included setting up the entire system at no cost to Tortola Pier Park Ltd, and a revenue-share agreement whereby revenue collected from tourists will generate a continuous stream of revenue for TPPL.
