Elon Musk Accuses Brazilian Supreme Court Justice of Election Interference

Elon Musk has accused Brazilian Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes of deliberate election interference. Following Moraes' order to block social media platform X, Musk contends the judge engaged in repeated interference and implicated former Twitter employees. The Brazilian court has fined X and ordered its blockage for enabling extremist content.
Tech billionaire Elon Musk has claimed that Brazilian Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes deliberately interfered in the country's last presidential election.

Musk's allegations followed de Moraes' order to block Musk's social media platform X nationwide due to its failure to appoint a legal representative in Brazil.

Musk contends that evidence shows de Moraes engaged in repeated election interference, an offense that could result in up to 20 years in prison under Brazilian law.

He also implicated former Twitter employees in aiding the alleged interference, urging the public to share evidence.

Brazil, a significant market for X with over 22 million users, has been engaged in a lengthy conflict with de Moraes over the platform's refusal to comply with court orders.

The Brazilian court has fined X 18 million reais (about one dollar 3.2 million) for non-compliance and accused the platform of enabling extremist content.

De Moraes has ordered the National Telecommunications Agency to block access to X and instructed Apple and Google to remove the app from their stores within five days.
