Kristoffer White, a convicted rapist described as a 'danger to women and children,' has been stripped of his parental responsibility. The family court revoked White's rights, citing his criminal history and failure to engage in court proceedings. Judge Kambiz Moradifar approved applications from the child's mother, ensuring the daughter's safety.
Kristoffer White, a convicted rapist described as a 'danger to women and children,' has been stripped of his parental responsibility by a family court.
White was previously convicted for the rape of a stranger and also found to have raped the child's mother thrice.
District Judge Sophie Harrison had initially permitted unsupervised access to his daughter based on a recommendation from the Children and Family Court Advisory and Support Service (Cafcass).
However, this decision was overturned after an appeal by the child's mother, who was represented by barrister Charlotte Proudman.
Judge Kambiz Moradifar ruled in favor of the mother’s applications, including revoking White’s parental responsibility and extending a non-molestation order.
White, who served four years of a nine-year sentence for raping a teenager in 2008, had failed to appear at recent court hearings.
The judge emphasized that all measures were taken to involve White in the proceedings, but he chose not to engage.
