Flow Gifts Family Support Network Supplies

As part of its Missions Week activities in November, telecommunications provider, Flow has gifted the Family Support Network with food and toiletry items to restock its pantry, along with school supplies.
During the presentation, Marketing and Communications Manager, Nadia J. Harris said, “At Flow, we believe that heart is more than something we have, it is something we share, and especially as it relates to youth and families in the British Virgin Islands. We see the invaluable efforts of the Family Support Network in the community, and wanted to continue to show our support for the work of the organization.”

Representatives of the Family Support Network expressed gratitude for the donation and said it was very timely for the organisation.

Flow’s Mission Week activities started with work to refurbish playground equipment at the Enis Adams Primary School, in partnership with the Rotary Club of Road Town. It will continue with renovation works to restore the Flow Sports Club Basketball Court for use by students of the St. Georges Secondary School and youth in the surrounding communities, as well as fundraising efforts towards Bahamas Recovery.

Harris explained, “The purpose of Mission Week is to bring employees together from across the business in our Caribbean, Liberty Latin America and Panama markets, to volunteer in their local communities to demonstrate our commitment to our vision, employee philosophy, principles and the work of the Cable & Wireless Charitable Foundation. This year’s Missions Week is an extension of the company’s annual Missions Day event and will be celebrated in the BVI for a fourth year.”
