Flow moving VG operations strictly online

Telecommunications company Flow has announced that all their operations on Virgin Gorda will move online as of October 31.

In a press release on Monday, the company said the decision is “part of its ongoing commitment to the safety of its employees and customers”.

The release said: “In adherence to the curfew regulations announced by the Government of the Virgin Islands, the current opening hours for the Virgin Gorda Retail Store at the Edison O’Neal Building are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8am to 4pm.”

Once curfew regulations are lifted, the store will resume regular opening hours from 8:30 am to 4 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays until October 31, 2020,” the release stated.

After this period, Flow said customers will no longer have physical access to the Virgin Gorda Retail Store, as all operations will be conducted online.

As of November 1, 2020, the online/ virtual Virgin Gorda store will operate Mondays to Fridays from 8:30 am to 5 pm, and services will also be available via WhatsApp at 284-544-0189 or via email at bvi-customerinquiry@cwc.com during the same hours.

Flow BVI Country Manager, Ravindra Maywahlall said the company will “implement an appointment-based system for installations, equipment collections and phone sales, through [the] virtual store.”

He added: “We are deploying a new online payment system that will be easier and more user friendly, and which will complement our already large e-Payment options. Additionally, there will be a bill payment kiosk which will be placed at ‘Mr Nice Guy’ giving customers additional options to make payments.”

The telecommunications company is also reminding customers they can pay bills online using the MyFlow App which is available for free at Google Play or App Store, the discoverflow.co online payment portal, or the online banking options at Republic Bank (formerly Scotia) and First Caribbean Bank.

Additionally, customers can use Top Up Flow.com to purchase prepaid plans online.
