For the First Time Ever, Virgin Charter Yachts in the British Virgin Islands (BVI) is Now Offering Sailing Catamarans for Bareboat Charter Vacations

Virgin Charter Yachts is excited to announce it has just added its first-ever sailing catamaran to the bareboat charter fleet - a 2019 Voyage 480 named 'Destiny.' The Voyage 480 is a high-performance, fast and comfortable sailing catamaran that can accommodate eight guests in four double cabins, each with their own en-suite head (bathroom).

Virgin Charter Yachts (VCY), a boutique charter company previously offering exclusively power catamarans and motor yachts for charter, is proud to announce the expansion of its fleet to now include sailing catamarans.

The first sailing catamaran added to the bareboat fleet is 'Destiny' a 2019 Voyage 480. 'Destiny' is loaded with amazing upgrades and options to offer guests a 'first-class' bareboat charter experience including: generator, full AC, water maker, ice maker, and an enormous swim platform to enjoy the warm turquoise seas of the BVI.

'Destiny' is a dream to sail with many additional features designed to provide a fast and comfortable sailing experience including; a fully battened mainsail, electric furling genoa, and electric winches.

Virgin Charter Yachts always had plans to expand into sailing catamarans when the right opportunity arose. Alexia Lucas, VCY Director, stated "Although we have offered luxury motor yachts and power catamarans for decades, we've always planned to expand into sailing catamarans."

Lucas continued: "We have been waiting to find a luxury catamaran that was the 'right fit' for our clients, and one that would compliment our personally curated fleet. We focus on offering our guests the newest, highest performance, and most well-optioned yachts in all of BVI.

The quality and features of the Voyage 480 were exactly what we had been looking for!"

Virgin Charter Yachts is now accepting bookings for charters aboard 'Destiny' for the 2020 and 2021 season. Rates start at $11,275/week bareboat and adjust seasonally.

'Destiny' can be chartered bareboat (guests captain themselves) or Virgin Charter Yachts can provide less experienced guests a professional captain and/or chef for a fully-crewed, luxury yacht experience.
