Government Invites Tenders For Security Services At Elmore Stoutt High School

The Government of the Virgin Islands invites tenders from local companies for Supply of Security Services for Elmore Stoutt High School campuses.
The proposed services are comprised of providing the school at the Lower Estate Campus (L. Adorothy Turnbull Building) and the Pasea Estate Campus (Clarence Thomas Building) with a 24 hour security service whose primary purpose is to safeguard the property of the school and lives of students, employees and visitors.

Procurement Coordinator, Mrs. Ishma Rhymer said, “Interested Tenderers must provide updated Certificates of Good Standing as proof they have complied with the relevant obligations from the BVI Social Security Board, National Health Insurance and the Inland Revenue Department. Tenderers must also provide a valid 2021 Trade Licence, a Certificate of Good Standing from the Commercial Registry and a Tender, Bond/Tender Security, not less than 1% of their bid price, issued by a Bank or accredited Insurance Company.

Mrs. Rhymer added that bidding documents will be available from Monday, January, 25 and will be sent to bidders electronically upon request to procurement@gov.vg with the subject title “Supply of Security Services for Elmore Stoutt High School at the Lower Estate Campus (L. Adorothy Turnbull Building) and the Pasea Estate Campus (Clarence Thomas Building)”.

Interested tenderers should submit one (1) original and three (3) copies plus one (1) flash drive in a sealed envelope. The original bid should be placed in a sealed envelope and marked “ORIGINAL” and the additional copies placed in another sealed envelope and marked “COPIES”. Both envelopes should then be placed in an outer envelope marked “Tender for the Supply of Security Services for Elmore Stoutt High School at the Lower Estate Campus (L. Adorothy Turnbull Building) and the Pasea Estate Campus (Clarence Thomas Building).” All bids must be received no later than 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March, 23 and must be addressed to:

Tenders will be opened at the Procurement Unit, Ministry of Finance, Qwomar Trading Building #2, 2nd Floor on Tuesday, March 23 at 11:00 a.m. All Tenderers are invited to witness this process via “Webex” and will be provided with an access code and password prior to the opening.
