A 39-year-old Norwegian man managed to board planes without a ticket at Munich Airport on August 4 and 5. On his first attempt, he got through security by standing close to another passenger and sneaking past airline staff, but was caught when he couldn’t find a seat. Despite being charged and released, he tried again the next day, successfully flying to Sweden. Upon arrival in Stockholm, he was arrested after wanting to return to Munich immediately. He is being investigated for unlawful entry and transport fraud. Munich Airport is now reviewing its security processes.
