Opposition legislator Marlon Penn has said he is not following the cocaine scandal involving former Premier Andrew Fahie and his two co-accused Oleanvine and Kadeem Maynard.
Penn made the statement when asked to give his opinion on
Fahie's request to have his court case pushed from July 17 to November of this year, as he needs more time to prepare for his appearance.
Penn served as Opposition Leader while
Fahie was still Premier of
the Virgin Islands.
Elected officials and public figures have largely shied away from commenting on
Fahie's trial.
Former House Speaker Julian Willock recently spoke frankly about the matter, stating that Andrew
Fahie did not get adequate support from the government when he was arrested on drug-related charges in the United States last year.
