Samsung Releases New Ad Video Trolling Apple’s iPhone 14, Points Out Lack of Innovation

Samsung gets shady with Apple, captioning their troll video with, "What will they not think of next?"
A new ad video titled "Buckle Up" was released by the company recently as a way to tease the Silicon Valley tech giant.

The video makes fun of Apple's next release event coming this September 7, Far Out, where it is widely assumed that the iPhone 14 will be unveiled.

Samsung's ad video opens with the latest Z Flip4 and features the Galaxy S22, boasting its highest resolution camera.

Samsung released their latest video just six days away from Apple's most awaited event to unveil to the public the newest devices they have been working on.

Apple has gained notoriety in the tech field, and fans are excited to see what is next for the brand. Apple's most awaited event, the Far Out, will unveil numerous devices but will also release the newest models of one of their most popular products, the iPhone.

The Buckle Up video shows Samsung getting comfortable throwing shade at Apple with a snide comment about the lack of "innovation" on the iPhone.

Samsung does this while simultaneously praising the capabilities of its most recent gadgets, the Galaxy S22 Ultra and Z Flip4, which include a camera with 108 megapixels and "Space Zoom" capabilities of 100 times.

Aside from the trolling, the ad is also directed at people who already own an iPhone. It promotes the Galaxy S22 Ultra, the new Z Flip 4, and capabilities that are unavailable to iPhone buyers.

The voiceover says, "Buckle up for Apple's latest launch as you enter a world where heads will turn, just not in your direction."

"Where the highest resolution camera on a smartphone will be in someone's pocket. And that epic moonshot that's getting all the likes won't be yours."

At the end of the video, it says, "Because this innovation is not coming soon to an iPhone near you, it is already here in the galaxy."

This is not the first time that Samsung has publicly made fun of Apple. Apple is subjected to consistent trolling by Samsung in the days leading up to the company's key events and the introduction of new products.

One of the most memorable advertisements that Samsung has ever run was in 2017 when it mocked the notch on the iPhone X, as well as the absence of a headphone jack and a variety of other features.

Apple's Far Out Event

Apple recently handed out invitations to its guests last week for their upcoming Far Out event just a week from now. The Apple event will take place on September 7 at 10:00 a.m. PT / 1:00 p.m. ET.

Just like their previous events during the pandemic, the company will have a select number of individuals at their Cupertino headquarters in California to watch the event while also streaming it live online for people around the world to tune in to.

As previously reported in iTechPost, there has been no confirmation as to what products are to be unveiled at the event. However, it is speculated that they will unveil the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro, ‌iPhone 14 Pro ‌Max, Apple Watch Series 8, iPad Pro, iOS 16, and many more.
