Thousands of Taylor Swift fans at her three Edinburgh concerts last weekend caused detectable seismic activity by cheering and dancing.

Monitoring stations located 6 km away from Murrayfield Stadium registered ground shaking during three popular songs: 'Cruel Summer,' 'Ready For It?' and 'champagne problems.' The Friday night performance saw the most activity, with fans generating up to 23.4 newton-meters of movement.

The British Geological Survey confirmed that activity peaked at 160 bpm during 'Ready For It?' and created power equivalent to around 6,000 car batteries.

The concerts marked the first of 17 UK dates for Swift and are part of a 152-date tour expected to gross over two billion dollars by December.
