You don't want to miss these dress trends

Are you ready for the summer season yet? Did you know you can wear your summer dress any season? For the coming spring and summer we see a number of very nice dress trends you can read more about it in this article.

How to wear your summer dress any season

In the context of sustainable shopping, the first trend is immediately worthwhile: recycling a summer dress in the winter. In today’s society we are increasingly concerned with sustainability, including in fashion. Perhaps you shop at a vintage shop or sell your clothes on second-hand sales sites such as Vinted. What you can also do within this trend is wear your summer clothes in the winter. For example, you can have a summer dress incorporated into a winter look in no time in a cool way.

You can wear almost any dress with nice tights or tights. Wear a pair of long boots or cool ankle boots and a warm wool cardigan. An A-line summer dress is also great with a cropped sweater (totally hip this winter) or with classy flared leggings with print. Also nice: combine a long wool cardigan with a basic summer dress and wear a nice belt over the cardigan around your waist. Success guaranteed!

Why a jersey dress should be in your wardrobe

Would you rather go for a slightly warmer dress? No worries: even then there is plenty of choice. How about tricot dresses, for example? Tricot is a material that we will see a lot this winter in fashion, accessories and interior. It is a knitted fabric in which different materials provide a nice and warm whole. One tricot dress contains wool, while the other dress uses cotton or even polyester. Often the following applies: the more natural the fabric, the softer the whole.

A jersey dress is undoubtedly the ideal item in your wardrobe. Why is that so? Very simple: the material of dresses look very feminine and trendy. You also have a lot of choice when it comes to tricot dresses – there is a suitable tricot dress available for every women. Do you go for a beautiful natural color tricot dress, such as black or beige, or do you prefer bright colors and a print? The choice is yours.

Oversized sweat dress for a comfortable look

If there’s one thing we’ll be seeing in fashion this fall, it’s comfy clothes. Since the pandemic and the associated lockdowns, we suddenly realized how nice it is to wear oversized clothes made of soft fabrics. Jogging pants, sweaters and hoodies were unstoppable in those days! The fashion designers saw value in that.

Of course you can go for a full jogging suit, but to still look a bit stylish, we recommend going for a combination of several comfy items of clothing. For example, think of a lovely oversized dress; a long dress made of that enormous soft material. These kinds of dresses are perfect for at home, but also suitable for a day out. It feels like you’re wearing pajamas all day, while you just look fashionable – that’s what you always want, right?

White dresses

Finally, a trend that we will see a lot. We are talking about a completely white look, so from top to bottom white clothing and white accessories. What better way to create such a look than with a gorgeous long white dress? For example, opt for a long white jersey dress and a pair of white heels. Or go for a white A-line dress with a sweater over it.

Do you think an all-white outfit is a bit too much of a good thing? For example, combine a white dress with a cool denim jacket or a woolen waistcoat. Wear a nice pair of lace-up shoes underneath or opt for a pair of cool lined sneakers and with the above dresses you are all set for spring and summer!
