Black Box Recovered from Air India Crash Site

Authorities retrieve critical flight recorder as investigation progresses
Indian authorities have confirmed the recovery of the flight data recorder, commonly known as the black box, from the wreckage of the Air India plane that crashed shortly after takeoff from Ahmedabad.

The crash claimed the lives of 241 of the 242 people on board the London-bound flight, with only one British passenger surviving.

Officials hope the black box will provide vital information to help determine the cause of the tragic incident, as grieving families continue to demand answers.
