Court Hears Stephen Bear Earned £22,000 from Sex Tape
Stephen Bear, a former TV personality, earned £22,305 from an unauthorized sex tape he uploaded to OnlyFans, involving himself and Love Island's Georgia Harrison, according to a court.
The 34-year-old was sentenced to 21 months in prison for offenses including voyeurism and distributing private sexual images.
During a session to discuss potential confiscation of Bear's profits, the court postponed proceedings to get input from Georgia Harrison, who had previously spoken about the incident and is currently participating in a reality TV show in South Africa.
Prosecutors claimed that despite Bear's portrayal of wealth on social media, he had limited assets and his primary income was from selling sex videos.
The tape initially earned around £1,650, but Bear's subscriber base on OnlyFans grew by 822, contributing to his total profits from the video.
Although released early this month from HMP Brixton, Bear has yet to pay over £200,000 in damages ordered in a previous civil case to Ms. Harrison. The court aims to assess if Harrison seeks compensation before confiscating Bear's earnings from the video. The case will resume on 4 March.
