Dag Samuels Development Series kicks off track and field season

Athletes returned to the track for the first time since March and typically, there’s a buzz in kicking off the BVI Athletics Association’s Dag Samuels Development Series, as athletes begin testing themselves as they gear up for selection to represent the BVI in the Easter Weekend Carifta Games. Not this year, as the COVID-19 pandemic has changed the global sporting landscape and the Carifta Games like many other competitions face uncertainty of being held in 2021.
Athletes tested themselves over several disciplines and the results follows.
