The post was accompanied by a photo of the baby resting with a blanket featuring her name.
Collins, 35, and McDowell's announcement followed a tribute to Collins' father, musician Phil Collins, on his birthday, reflecting on their close relationship.
Collins, born in Guildford and raised in Los Angeles, began acting at a young age and gained international fame with her role as Emily Cooper in Emily in Paris.
The show, which follows Emily’s career in Paris, has been renewed for a fifth season, though filming locations have not yet been confirmed.
Collins also made her West End stage debut in 2024. The actress's career continues to evolve with both television and stage projects.
