M25 Experiences Significant Traffic Disruptions Following Lorry Incident

A lorry crash leads to extended tailbacks and ongoing traffic delays across multiple routes in the region.
Traffic disruptions were reported on the M25 following a lorry crash near junction 29 at the A127, which was first reported at approximately 7:18 AM. According to traffic monitoring services, the incident led to the closure of two lanes on the anticlockwise carriageway, resulting in tailbacks extending around four miles to Junction 31 at Thurrock.

As of 9:58 AM, traffic congestion was noted for two miles on the M25 anticlockwise after junction 25 A10, attributed to construction work in the area.

In addition, significant delays were reported on the M25 clockwise before junction 23 A1M (South Mimms), also linked to ongoing construction activities.

By 9:45 AM, reports indicated that traffic on the M25 had returned to normal; however, there was still queuing traffic on the A12 from the M25 junction 28 (Brentwood/Brook Street Roundabout) to Petersfield Avenue, again due to construction work.

Congestion of two miles was also noted along the Brentwood Bypass.

The morning of March 10 also saw multiple other road incidents across the UK. At 3:50 AM, firefighters responded to a crash at the Broxton Roundabout on the A41.

A separate incident was reported at around 6:30 AM on the M5 near Bristol.

Additionally, at 7:50 AM, police attended the scene of a collision involving a car and a van on Capel Road in Bentley, where two individuals sustained injuries, though the severity of their injuries was not immediately available.

The current traffic situation follows a separate lorry crash that took place the previous day when a lorry collided with an obstruction in the Blackwall Tunnel around 8:50 AM, leading to further complications for motorists in the area.

In terms of additional traffic reports, long delays of approximately 30 minutes were reported on the A10 Great Cambridge Road traveling south from Cheshunt to the M25 around 9:10 AM. Slow-moving traffic was also observed from the A128 at the Halfway House to the M25 at junction 29, as noted at 9:33 AM. Furthermore, queuing traffic was present on the exit ramp due to a previously stalled vehicle on the M25 clockwise at junction 28 A12 (Brentwood/Brook Street Roundabout), reported around 9:19 AM, and slow-moving conditions persisted on the Brentwood bypass from junction 12 (Shenfield) to junction 11 (M25) as of 9:27 AM.
