Murder Charge Following Fatal Altercation Between Drivers in Greater Manchester
A 50-year-old man is dead after a confrontation on Broadway, with a 32-year-old charged with his murder.
A 50-year-old man, identified as Paul Bowles, has died following an altercation between two drivers near the Elk Mill roundabout on Broadway in Chadderton, Greater Manchester.
The incident occurred around 6:40 PM on Wednesday, prompting a response from police.
Upon arrival, officers found Mr. Bowles, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
In connection with the incident, Andrew Robson, a 32-year-old resident of Fold Green in Chadderton, has been charged with murder by Greater Manchester Police (GMP).
He is scheduled to appear at Manchester Magistrates’ Court on Saturday.
Following Mr. Bowles' death, his family issued a tribute through the police, describing him as a "kind, loving, family man and true gentleman who always put others before himself." They characterized him as intelligent, quick-witted, possessing a brilliant mind and a generous heart.
GMP is providing support to Mr. Bowles' family during this time.
