Nigel Farage, leader of the Reform UK party, has stated that becoming prime minister is a possibility, even if not probable.
Speaking to Sky’s political correspondent Darren McCaffrey at the Reform UK annual conference in Birmingham, Farage emphasized the need for the party to become more democratic and less focused on a single individual.
He acknowledged past perception issues, particularly regarding accusations of racism, and outlined plans for rigorous vetting of future candidates.
Farage highlighted the party’s significant achievements, including over four million votes and five MPs, and called for further professionalization to expand beyond the primary issue of migration.
He cited the success of the Liberal Democrats as a model for winning more seats with fewer votes.
