Lebanon has banned walkie-talkies and pagers on flights departing from Beirut Rafic Hariri International Airport (BEY) following deadly explosions.
This decision was announced Thursday after devices reportedly used by Hezbollah detonated, killing 37 people and injuring thousands.
The Civil Aviation Directorate instructed airlines to enforce the prohibition on these items in both carry-on and checked luggage.
Qatar Airways has confirmed its compliance.
The ban comes amid escalating tension between Hezbollah and Israel, with Israel launching new airstrikes targeting Hezbollah's infrastructure in Lebanon.
