Los Angeles dead fake voter fraud

Plot to register 8,000 dead and fictitious voters leads to 2 arrests in L.A.

The men also allegedly falsified names, addresses and signatures to help nominate one of them to be listed as a candidate for mayor.
Two men have been arrested and charged with allegedly submitting voter registration applications for 8,000 dead and fictitious voters in Los Angeles County.

The two men, Carlos Antonio De Bourbon Montenegro—also known as Mark Anthony Gonsalves—and Marcos Raul Arevalo, allegedly submitted the applications between July and October to the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder's Office and the California Secretary of State for processing, according to NBC Los Angeles.

The men wanted the offices to send them mail-in ballots to be cast in the November election. They allegedly used three post office boxes in the city of Hawthorne, California and Montenegro's home address to carry out their scheme.

Additionally, the men stand accused of falsifying names, addresses and signatures on a petition to nominate Montenegro as a potential candidate in Hawthorne's mayoral race.

Montenegro now faces eight felony counts of voter fraud, 11 felony counts of procuring a false or forged instrument, two felony counts of perjury, one felony count of conspiracy to commit voter fraud and nine misdemeanor counts of interference with a prompt transfer of a completed affidavit, NBC reported, citing the District Attorney's Office.
