George W. Bush and Barack Obama will hold back-to-back disinformation conferences

Critics says: “The man who invaded Afghanistan and Iraq on lies, and the man who destroyed Libya, Syria and Yemen on lies, want to lecture us about disinformation.“ We are sorry to hear that comment, regardless how factual and true it is or not.
We say: we cannot fight disinformation by censorship. Disinformation is a real and big problem. The fact that the two former presidents were a clear example of this problem should not limit us from listen to their good ideas, opinion and experience.

We should listen to what they say, remembering that it is always the once with the dirty hands to point their fingers, and learn from what they say to educate ourselves to learn how to deal with disinformation, wether it’s Trump, or Bush, or Clinton or Obama.

We should never fight the disinformation problem by welcoming much more dangerous problem: censorship. For the very same reason we should not fight the democracy problems we have by replacing it with dictatorship.

Whoever do not understand it and offer censorship instead of education, is the enemy of the people, the enemy of Democracy.

The solution against disinformation is more and not less information.

The way to protect democracy is not by limiting the flow of information but by opening it up, motivating more true-speakers to defeat disinformation with facts, not with censorship. Hitler, Mussolini and Stalin tried censorship already and fail. We do not have to follow their ways. We actually suppose to be careful NOT to adopt their solution to wrong, uncomfortable or annoying information.

We should never forget that Hitler, Mussolini and Stalin raised their power from, by and in the name of liberalism, Justice and social-democratic agenda. We must encourage liberalism and Justice, but not to do so again by social suicide as Hitler, Mussolini and Stalin did.

Censorship is not replacement for education, its the fastest way to kill democracy, or whatever left from it.
