Man drove vehicle while drunk & without driver’s license- RVIPF

A man has found himself in trouble with the law after he allegedly unlawfully took someone’s vehicle while drunk and not in possession of a driver’s license.

According to the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) Arrest Blotter for May 1-14, 2022, Montgomery Bryan, 47 of Wickham’s Cay I was arrested and charged on May 7, 2022, for Taking Conveyance without Lawful Authority, Driving without a Driver’s License and Driving Drunk and in Charge of a Motor Vehicle.

Bryan was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 with one signed surety for his appearance at the Magistrate’s Court on June 10, 2022.

ASSAULT OCCASIONING ACTUAL BODILY HARM

1. On 08-05-2022 at 1212hrs Police arrested and charged Kevern Leonard, 33 of Carrot Bay for Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm, Escaping Lawful Custody, Resisting Arrest and Threatening Language. He was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 for his appearance at the Magistrate’s Court on 27-06-2022 at 0900hrs.
2. On 11-05-2022 at 09:10hrs, Police arrested and charged Maliki Thomas, 25 of West End for Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm. He was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 for his appearance at the Magistrate’s Court on 27-06-2022 at 0900hrs.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

On 12-05-2022 at 2030hrs, Police arrested and charged Lucien Valade,26 of Hodges Creek for Disorderly Conduct, Failure to stop at the scene of an accident, Drunkenness while in charge of a motor vehicle and Failure to stop at the sound of a siren. He was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 for his appearance at the Magistrate’s Court on 23-06-2022 at 0900hrs

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED DRUG

On 01-05-2022 AT 1440hrs, Police arrested and charged Shakira Flax, 19 of The Valley, Virgin Gorda for Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Drug.
