Three teenage girls, aged 14, 16, and 17, have been charged with manslaughter in connection with the death of a 75-year-old man in north London.
The victim, identified as Fredi Reviro, was reportedly attacked on Seven Sisters Road in the Islington area at approximately 11:35 PM on Thursday.
He succumbed to his injuries the following day in a local hospital.
The Metropolitan Police have announced that a special postmortem examination will be conducted to ascertain the cause of death.
The identities of the girls have not been disclosed due to legal protections for minors involved in criminal proceedings.
The three teenagers are scheduled to appear before Highbury Magistrates' Court on Monday to face the charges.
