Since 2022, following renewed Russian aggression, the UK has significantly increased its military aid to Ukraine, including training over fifty thousand Ukrainian soldiers, providing lethal arms, and committing financial assistance totaling approximately twelve point eight billion pounds (around sixteen billion dollars).
