UK Police Arrest Dozens at Pro-Palestine Protest After Group Ban
Palestine Action designated terrorist organization under new law
British police have arrested over 20 activists during a protest in London in support of the recently banned group Palestine Action.
The government designated the organization as a terrorist entity, citing its record of damaging property at arms manufacturers.
Officers enforced the new ban at demonstrations, warning supporters they faced prosecution for showing allegiance to the outlawed group.
Civil liberties groups have criticized the designation as an attack on protest rights.
