5th corruption case agaisnt Canadian PM Justin Trudeau: His mother, brother and wife were paid "to speak at WE Charity events", after WE award of government contract worth £531 million

Members of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's family were paid a total of nearly $300,000 over the last four years to speak at WE Charity events just after Justin Trudeau awarded controversial contract "to manage a major government program" (=for doing nothing) was awarded to a charity used as a vehicle to pay from this money to the prime minister's family.

. The charity group is at the centre of an ethics investigation into Trudeau. for Trudeau this is the 3rd corruption case and people who aware of his sudden wealth estimates that it's probably not the last case.

This is the 5rd corruption case against Canadian PM Justin Trudeau.

In 2017, he found guilty in conflict of interest case, for taking a "free" vacation on the Aga Khan's private island, and last year for trying to influence legal proceedings in the SNC-Lavalin case, in which a subsidiary of the engineering company was accused of paying bribes to secure contracts in Libya.

Conflict of Interest and Ethics Commissioner Mario Dion tweeted that he had "informed" Mr Trudeau of the decision. His investigation is confidential and will be the subject of a report once it is completed. Meanwhile Prime Minister Trudeau can continue with his corruption as usual.

And as you can see by your own eyes in this video - he is not even trying to hide that he is a crook:

Will he and the people that operates him will survive the new case too?

The announcement came after the co-founders of WE Charity, Craig Kielburger and Marc Kielburger, said they were withdrawing from the program, which they said had "been enmeshed in controversy from the moment of its announcement."

Mr Trudeau's government had announced in late June that it was awarding the organisation the management of the 900 million Canadian dollars (£531 million) federal program, which provides grants of up to $5,000 to eligible students for volunteer work with non-profit organisations during the coronavirus pandemic.

Mr Trudeau, his wife and his mother were all at one time or another invited as speakers by WE Charity. Their links to the group led opposition parties to suggest preferential treatment.

WE Charity's decision to withdraw was "mutually agreed," according to Minister of Diversity, Inclusion and Youth Bardish Chagger.

"This situation unfolded in a way that is truly unfortunate," Mr Trudeau said at a press briefing Friday.

He defended his involvement and that of his family with the organisation.

"All my life I have been involved in supporting young people," he said.
