Fast Food Chain Refuses to Apologize for Online Comment About Katy Perry's Space Voyage

Wendy's faces backlash after making a comment about sending Katy Perry back to space following her Blue Origin suborbital flight
Katy Perry recently completed an 11-minute journey to the edge of space aboard a Blue Origin flight alongside Lauren Sánchez, Gayle King, and three other women.

Following the milestone moment, Wendy's fast food chain made a comment on social media suggesting they would like to send her back to space.

The post sparked backlash from fans who felt the comment was inappropriate and disrespectful.

Despite being given the opportunity to apologize, a spokesperson for Wendy's stated that the brand has a ton of respect for Katy Perry and her talent, but did not offer an apology.

The incident has drawn attention from various individuals, including Lauren Sánchez, who expressed her disappointment with Wendy's comment and offered to give them a behind-the-scenes look at Blue Origin to show them the significance of the mission.

The stock price of The Wendy's Company has been reported to be $12.68, with a 1.12% increase.

Wendy's media relations team has not responded to requests for further comment on the issue.
