Virgin Islands' Thad Lettsome Makes History with Pan American Games Qualification

Thad Lettsome, an ILCA 7 laser sailor from the Virgin Islands, has qualified for the 2023 Pan American Games by placing 2nd in the second race of the final day of the San Salvador 2023 CAC Games.

This is the first time in 30 years that a sailor from the Virgin Islands has officially qualified for a Pan American Games.

The BVI Olympic Committee and the national sailing federation, Royal BVI Yacht Club, have congratulated Lettsome on his achievement.
