Rumble, the popular free speech platform, has officially been blocked in Brazil, signaling a disturbing trend in the fight for freedom of information. The move highlights increasing global efforts to control online discourse.
CEO Chris Pavlovski sounded the alarm, pointing out that Brazil now joins the ranks of countries like France, Russia, and China, all of which have restricted access to Rumble. The ban comes after actions by De Moraes, a figure who has faced growing criticism for his assault on freedom of expression.
Pavlovski didn’t hold back, condemning the ban: “World powers don’t want platforms like Rumble, X, Telegram, or Truth Social. They want control over information, but our companies won’t bow to their demands.”
